Jusung Lee

Dr. Jusung Lee, DVM, age 79, of Malvern, died Tuesday. December 24, 2013 at his home. Born on May 19, 1934 in Seoul, Korea, he had resided and practiced in Malvern since 1964. He was the first Korean Veterinarian in the United States, arriving here in 1958 and being naturalized in 1965. An avid fisherman and outdoorsman, he is survived by his daughter, Velda Lee Keeney (Jay), two grandsons, Jacob and Jace Keeney, all of Malvern, and by five brothers and four sisters. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013, 2 p.m. in the chapel of J.A. Funk Funeral Home with Reverend LaVon Post officiating.
