Liz (Brown) Jackson

Liz (Brown) Jackson was born on January 20, 1937, near Natural Dam, Arkansas. She passed away on December 25, 2014 at the age of 76. Liz graduated from Cedarville High School. She married Jack Jackson of Clay Center, Kansas on January 27, 1956, in Van Buren, Arkansas. They moved to Clay Center, Kansas for eleven years where they were co-owners of D.D. Jackson and Son Electric. In 1968 they returned to Arkansas, choosing Siloam Springs as their new home where they established Jackson Electric in 1974. Liz was a full-time housewife and mother to their two children, Dwight and Doris. Liz was a Charter Member of the Eastgate Free Will Baptist Church and in 2003 she and Jack became members of Liberty Baptist Church in Siloam Springs. She is survived by her son, Dwight Jackson and wife, Marilyn, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, by her daughter, Doris Reed and husband, Doug of Roland, Arkansas, eight grandchildren, by one sister, Ella Ross of Van Buren, Arkansas, brothers Billy and Jimmy Brown of Natural Dam, Arkansas, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, December 28, 2013, at Liberty Baptist Church, Siloam Springs, Arkansas, with Pastor Ralph Devore and Pastor Wes Flaugh of Liberty Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be 6:30-8:00 p.m., Friday, December 27, 2013, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs. Burial will be in the Hall Cemetery at Natural Dam, Arkansas.
