CHARLENE D. ABNER CARODINE, 84, of Little Rock passed away Dec. 24, 2013. She was born May 17, 1929 in Little Rock to the late Ruby Abner Blake. She retired from Los Angeles Department of Human Services. She was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA) Sorority, incorporated. She was a member of American Bridge Association, Western Section, Los Angeles, Calif. She was a member of Founder's Church in Los Angeles, Calif. Proceeded in her death, her husband, Carlton Carodine; mother, Ruby Abner Blake; and one sister, Janice People's Eubanks. She is survived by one sister, Joan Peoples Jones; one brother, Charles People Sr. both of Littler Rock. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Niece and husband/caregivers Ruby and Derwin Brown. Funeral services will be today, Dec. 29, 2013 at Premier Funeral Home at 1518 South Battery Street in Little Rock, Ark. at 3 p.m. Also, services will beheld on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014 at 11 at Founders Church in Los Angeles, Calif. Burial will be at Inglewood Park Cemetery, in Inglewood, Calif. Services there will be conducted by Angelus Funeral Home.
