Teri Lyn Pennington Jordan, age 59, of Crossett, won her battle with ALS on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 at her home. She was born on Sept. 9, 1954 in El Dorado, Ark. to her parents, Melvin and Ruby Jenkins Pennington. Mrs. Jordan had worked as a CNA with Home Health prior to becoming ill. She was a member of the First Church of God and enjoyed spending time with family and grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Wayne Jordan of Crossett; one son, Charlie Jordan (Katie) and children, Emily and Jase Jordan of Crossett, Ark.; one daughter, Amy Harrington (Neil) and children, Jackson and Avery Harrington of Hamburg, Ark.; her parents, Melvin and Ruby Pennington of El Dorado, Ark.; two brothers, Mark and Lane Pennington, both of Junction City, Ark.; one sister, Shelley Norris (Buddy) of Farmerville, La.; her mother-in-law, Sue Jordan of Crossett, Ark.; two special sisters-in law, Judy Pippen (James) of Crossett, Ark. and Ginger Aldridge (Calvin) of Cabot, Ark.; numerous family, friends, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013 at the First Church of God with Bro. Randy Ivy officiating. Interment will follow at Lone Sassafras Cemetery in Ladelle, Ark. under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, Ark. Visitation will be held Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the First Church of God, 1501 Main Street, Crossett, Ark.
