Edith JoAnn (Snelson) Corbit

Edith JoAnn (Snelson) Corbit, 70, died Sunday, December 29, 2013 in Searcy. She was born December 24, 1943 in Bradford, a daughter of the late Cecil and Lena Mae Medlock Snelson. JoAnn was retired from General Industries and was a member of the Bradford Assembly of God. She is survived by her husband, Glen Dale Corbit; sons, Junior Corbit (Sandra) of Bradford, Ricky Corbit (Kathy) of Pleasant Plains and Jeff Corbit (Nancy) of Bald Knob; daughter, Vicky Ballard (Darrel) of Batesville; brothers, Ronnie and Johnny Snelson; sisters, Ruby Jarveck, Francis Curtis and Patty Crisco; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Corbit. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home. Services will be Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the Bradford Assembly of God with Bro. Larry Cox officiating.
