Elmer Paul "Fudd" Freyaldenhoven Jr., 65, of Enola passed away Feb. 10, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. Elmer was born Nov. 16, 1947, to Elmer Sr. and Mary (Luyet) Freyaldenhoven. He was a retired rice and soybean farmer who loved the outdoors; but above all, he was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Addie "Beth" Freyaldenhoven, of Enola; children, Britt (Memorie) Freyaldenhoven of Conway, Brandi (George) Covington of Conway, Brian (Kim) Freyaldenhoven of Conway; step-children, Cassi (Michael) Gilbow of Greenbrier and Jami Canady of Greenbrier; grandchildren, Spencer, Sidney, and Ben Freyaldenhoven; Savannah, Brianna, Nicholas and Lucas Covington; James Paul and Kinley Freyaldenhoven; Parker and Jackson Hutchins; Austin and Addie Gilbow; Meah Webb and Jackson Canady; siblings, Mary (Buddy) Moss, Rita Bellinghausen, Rudy Freyaldenhoven, Edna Grummer, James (Pam) Freyaldenhoven and Tim (Dorinda) Freyaldenhoven. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Matilda Clary and step-mother, Clara Freyaldenhoven. Visitation will be on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a parish rosary at 6 p.m. all at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Due to Ash Wednesday services, Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Conway with Fr. John Marconi as celebrant. Interment will follow at Marcus Hill Cemetery near Enola. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to St. Joseph School Endowment (1313 College Ave) in Conway.
