Guy Edward Tucker

Guy Edward Tucker, 71, of Cabot, died Thursday, December 20, 2012. He was born February 26, 1941 in Jacksonville to the late Austin Clyde and Margie Green Tucker. Mr. Tucker was a carpenter and a collector of "fine" junk. He enjoyed finding odd things and fixing them. In addition to his parents, Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth and Otis Tucker. Mr. Tucker is survived by his sons, Guy Allen Tucker (Ramona) of Austin and David Tucker (Tanya) of Cabot; his daughter, Denise Sword (Mark Sr.) of Austin as well as two sisters, Pearl DeFoe of Romance and Mary Jo Skinner of McRae; five grandchildren, Heather Tucker, Mark Sword Jr., Brad Tucker, Mallory Sword and Jacob Tucker and three great -grandchildren. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2013. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. in the chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with burial following at Sylvania Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home and Crematory (501) 843-5816.
