John William Meadows

John William Meadows, 54, of Proctor, Arkansas died Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at his mother's home. Mr. Meadows graduated from Arkansas State with a Bachelors Degree in Agriculture. He was a Farm Manager for the family business. In addition, John was a gifted musician and avid outdoorsman. In the early 70's, he won the Mid-South Banjo Competition in Memphis, Tennessee. He is survived by his mother, Sue E. Meadows of Proctor, Arkansas and his brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Jane Meadows of Little Rock, Arkansas. He is also survived by a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Sam Meadows Jr. There will be a graveside service held on 10 a.m. Thursday, January, 2013 at Crittenden Memorial Park.
