DEBORAH DIANE TEER, "Asphalt Angel," age 54, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, died December 28, 2012, concluding her battle with cancer. Born April 20, 1958, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, to DJ and Dessie Francis Birmingham Hicks. After high school, Debbie received her Medical Technician certification, graduating Valedictorian of her class. An amazing artist, Debbie's creativity knew no bounds. She had a love for life and a deep passion for Harley Davidsons as well as the family she rode with over the years. She loved animals and found a best friend in her dog, Harley, who was by her side every day. With a contagious sense of humor, Debbie would leave you with a smile on your face in the darkest of days. She considered her friends as family and her family as friends. She was an amazing woman; to know her was to love her. Debbie is survived by her mother, Dessie Birmingham Long, son, Michael Lambert, daughter, Lisa Teer, grandchildren, Destiny Stinson and Jessica Teer-Smith, great-grandchild, Nature Stinson, brothers, Steven Ray Huskey and wife Karrie Ann, and Danny Joe Huskey and wife Grace, many other family, and friends whom she loved dearly, and beloved dog, Harley. The family extends a special thank you to her cousin, Valtaree Boyd who Debbie described as "her angel." Debbie is preceded in death by her father, DJ Hicks and her grandparents, Elmer and Mattie Hicks and JT and Elizabeth Birmingham. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Levy church of Christ in North Little Rock, Arkansas (5124 Camp Robinson Rd. NLR). Following the service, Debbie will be laid to rest in Old Lebanon Cemetery, Lynn, Arkansas.
