Jack Cathey Robinson

Mr. Jack Cathey Robinson 63, of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas died suddenly at home Monday, December 31, 2012. Preceded in death by his parents, Russell Robinson and Frances Cloud Robinson of Monticello. A Vietnam Veteran, he was accomplished and knowledgeable in a wide array of subjects, generous with advice when asked, which he often was by friends and family. A partial list of interest includes literature, aviation, motorcycles, cars, travel, sports and outdoor activities. After military service, Jack worked in several occupations, ultimately working his way through school while raising a family to achieve the degree of Educational Specialist. He recently retired as Superintendent of the Westside School District in Greers Ferry. The fruits of these labors will be harvested by many for a long time. He will be greatly missed by many friends and family whose lives he has touched. Jack is survived by his wife, Denise and daughter, Candace (Tyler) Bradshaw. Sisters Nita (Steve) Stacey and Lynne (David) Hicks. Brothers Roland (Dianne) Robinson and Kenneth (Karen) Robinson. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2013 and Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Friday, January 4, 2013 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, Arkansas. Private Interment.
