James Davis Riddle

James Davis "J.D." Riddle, 64, of Russellville, Ark., passed away Monday, December 31, 2012 at his home. The son of James and Catherine Beavers Riddle, he was born December 2, 1948 in Talladega, Ala. Davis was a graduate of Troy State University in Troy, Ala. He was preceded in death by his parents. J.D. was employed by Windsor Overhead Door as an outdoor salesman for more than 22 years. He was Top Gun salesman eight times and was awarded the President's Ring twice. He was currently employed by A-Tech Suburban Inc. as Regional Sales Manager. He was top performing salesman in 2006 and Salesman of the Month 13 times in the last three years. Davis attended Pottsville Assembly of God Church. He was an avid movie buff, Razorback and Nascar fan, and connoisseur of fine food. Survivors include his sister, Sue Ellen Riddle of Gatlinburg, Tenn.; three sons, Kevin Hays & wife Liz of Jacksonville, Fla, Trevor Hays of Zebulon, Ga., and Scott Hays of Dover; two grandsons, Avery Hays of Jacksonville, Fla. and Conner Hays of Zebulon, Ga.; several cousins in Biloxi, Miss., close friends Roger & Debby Cooper of Russellville, and numerous friends and acquaintances. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday, January 7, 2013 at Humphrey Chapel. Reverend Sam Austin will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 pm to 8 p.m. on Sunday, at the funeral home.
