Jenni Marie "Cissy" Vencill Womble

Jenni Marie "Cissy" Vencill Womble joined God on Dec. 31, 2012. She is survived by her daughter, Melanie Lovell-Watson and son-in-law, Bobby L. Watson Sr. and grandchildren Caitlin and Kendall, all of Conway. She is also survived by daughter, Lara Womble-Dominguez and grandchildren Tanner, Paula, Eddie, Myley and John Dylan, all of the Houston, Texas area. Surviving her as well is her brother Paul Vencill of Lake Village, Arkansas; sister Lynda Vencill-McLaughlin of Brenham, Texas; sister Jackie Gregg-Morgan of Baytown, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and grandnephews that live in Arkansas, Texas, and Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward "Booger Red" Vencill; her mother, Virginia Galloway-Vencill-Greg; her brother Kenneth Vencill; her sister, Nancy Vencill-Gibbs; and her brother Edward "Scooter" Vencill. Jenni had been a resident of Conway, Ark. since 2006 and previously a resident of the Little Rock area for 45 years. She was an active member of the Democratic Party for more than 50 years. She strongly believed that all citizens should exercise their right to vote and encouraged everyone to debate the issues of the day. She was an avid fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and never missed an opportunity to call the Hogs. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made in her honor to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
