Marianita Yvonne Lawrence

MARIANITA YVONNE LAWRENCE, 82 years, 9 months passed from this life on Jan. 3, 2013, at the Baptist Medical Center in North Little Rock. She was born on March 23, 1929 to the late Joseph E. Wright Sr. and Gertrude M. (Camp) Wright. She received her elementary education at Moran, Kansas, high school education at West Plains, Mo., and her nursing education at the Columbia, Missouri School of Health Occupation. She was married to William M. Bolderson in 1949 and he preceded her in death in October of 1972. She married Theodore E. Lawrence who preceded her in death in 2001. Marianita was employed by Harry S. Truman V.A. Hospital for 20 years, then worked 8 years for Sam's Club as a demo lady. She is survived by two daughters: Linda S. Preston of Las Vegas, Nev., Caroline M. Cone of North Little Rock, Ark.; four grandchildren: Thomas Preston, Casey Jo Geier, Carroll D. Cone Jr., Jean Dunn; four great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at the Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas with Bro. James Bancroft officiating.
