Billy Dortch

Billy "Andy" Dortch, age 55, of Sardis died Sunday, January 6, 2013. He was born November 13, 1957 in Little Rock. He was presently employed at Arkansas Trailer prior to that he was with Great Dane Trailer for 19 years. He is preceded in death by his father Oral Dortch, of Sardis. He is survived by his Mother, Mary Dortch of Sardis; his wife of 17 years Terri Turnage Dortch, Sardis; son, Blake Dortch, and grandson Tyler,Tulsa, Oklahoma; stepson, Josh Swint, and his son Dustin, Rose Bud; stepdaughter, Jodi Blackard and husband Kendrick and their children, Tallon and Kamryn, Lonoke; brother, Dennis Dortch, Sardis; sisters, Carolyn Herndon and husband Buck, Alexander; Kathi Bergemann and husband Jim, Monroe, Louisiana; Becky Cossey and husband Larry, of Sardis; and a host of nieces and nephews, his lifelong best friend, Rick Everhart. He will also be dearly missed by his two best buddies, Simon and Snack. He leaves a special family of friends where he and his wife played league pool at the Fox and Hound, where he coached the "Pocket Poachers" for several years.
