Pearl Marie Williams Nickels, 88, of Benton, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 7, 2013. She was born on December 9, 1924 in Texas. Mrs. Nickels was preceded in death by her parents of Corpus Christie, Texas and her son, Daniel B. Nickels Jr. of Louisiana. She is survived by husband, Daniel B. Nickels Sr.; sister, Mary Virginia Lach; son, Richard Nickels and wife, Lyn of Star City; daughter, Sandy Heard and husband, John of Benton; son, William Nickels and wife, Ramona of Benton; daughter, Sherry Cousins and husband, Larry of Benton; daughter, Sue Lovell and husband, Richard Lovell Sr. of Bauxite; sixteen grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Ashby Funeral Home.
