Louise "Lucy" Reid

Louise "Lucy" Reid, age 73, of Haskell, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013. She was born December 31, 1939 in Russellville, Arkansas. Mrs. Reid retired from the Harmony Grove School District and was a member of Mt. Harmony Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dolan and Viva Johnson and a grandson, William Lee Hall Jr. She is survived by her best friend and husband of 52 years, Troy D. Reid of Haskell; son, Kevin Reid of Bentonville; daughter, Karla Hall of Haskell and four grandchildren, Jeremy Hall, Natalie Hall, Catherine Reid and Zachary Reid. Pallbearers will be Paul Simmons, Dink Hall, Jerrel George, Mike Krebs, Charlie Scribner, Daniel Campbell, Clifton Sheridan and Matt Lee. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 11 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, January 12 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Tulip Cemetery in Tulip, Arkansas.
