Mildred Martha Johnson

Mrs. Mildred Martha Mazique Johnson, 88, of Pine Bluff, passed January 3, 2013. She was born on July 21, 1924 in Sibley, Mississippi to the late Martha Clark and Robert Mazique. She was a 1948 graduate of AM&N College. She was a home economics educator at Coleman, Martin, and Altheimer High Schools for 39 years. She retired in 1987. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Dr. J.B. Johnson Sr. Survivors include sons, Johnny Bernard Johnson, Jr., Revawn Johnson; daughter, Patricia Berry; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2013 at St. James United Methodist Church by Rev. Henry "Hank" Wilkins, IV. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Section of Graceland Cemetery by Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff. Visitation will be Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 4-6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
