Louise Heaton

Louise Heaton, 80, of Osceola, entered into rest Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, in Osceola. Born March 27, 1932, in Osceola to the late Thomas H. Ragland and Frances Newson Ragland, she was a member of First Baptist Church. She and her late husband, C.D. Heaton Jr., owned and operated Heaton Grocery from 1954 to 2008. She was also a member of Gamma Beta Phi and member/treasurer of Crowley's Ridge Chapter 425 of Star Touring and Riding Association. She is survived by her sons, Steve Heaton of Russellville and C.D. Heaton III of Osceola; daughter, Mrs. John (Francis Anneta Heaton) Bryant of Elkins, Ark.; grandchildren Michael Heaton, Amber Heaton (and friend Justen Roberts) and Brett Wilkins; one great grandchild, Bryleigh Heaton; and daughter-in-law Melinda Wilkins. She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, Tommy Ragland of Dallas, Texas. Visitation will be from 10 a.m.–noon, Saturday Jan. 12, 2013, followed immediately by services at Roller-Swift Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial at Bassett Cemetery, Bassett, Ark.
