Mr. and Mrs. Carlee and Kathleen Kelley

Mr. and Mrs. Carlee and Kathleen Kelley were reunited in heaven, January 14, 2013. Carlee T. Kelley was born July 23, 1926 to Andrew J. and Nettie (Thornton) Kelley at Saltillo. He honorably served in the US Navy in the Philippines during WW II. He worked as a carpenter, building many of the houses in the early development of Conway's residential areas. He retired in 1987 from the maintenance department at the University of Central Arkansas. He was 32nd degree Mason; he had a profound love for farm life, raising cattle and a beautiful garden; he made many friends selling his produce at the annual Farmer's Market in Conway. He especially loved to see the smiles on his old customer's faces when he'd pack a few extra vegetables in their bags as they left. He also served on the Vilonia school board for 11 years. Kathleen I. (Diehl) Kelley was born May 17, 1928 to Arthur and Johnnie (McHenry) Diehl at Beryl. She enjoyed gardening, collecting glassware, quilting and crocheting; but above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was employed by International Shoe Factory, Baldwin Piano Company and retired from the University of Central Arkansas. Carlee and Kathleen were loving parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters. They are survived by sons, Ronnie (Judy) Kelley of Saltillo, Roger (Tammy) Kelley of Maumelle; daughter Kathy (Kelley) Graham of Vilonia; grandsons, John Andrew (Jessica) Kelley of Vilonia, Bradley Wayne (Keri) Kelley of Mt. Vernon, Chad Allen (Jennifer) Kelley of Conway, Kelley William (Heather) Graham of Conway, Zac Pate Graham of Vilonia; granddaughters, Katy (Bryan) Kelley Mullins of Conway, Becky (Alex Jr.) Kelley McNespey of Conway; great-granddaughters, Cassidy McNespey, Kaiti, Riley, Abby and Ava Grace Kelley; great-grandsons, Trey McNespey, Tyler Keith Mullins, Krossen Graham, and Aiden Kelley; step- grandaughters, Keri (Chris) Mann and Heather Mistric; step-great-grandsons, Luke Mann, and Tyler Shannon; step-great-granddaughters, Whitney Mullins, Payton Mistric and Emily French, as well as many nieces and nephews. Carlee's other survivors include a brother Carroll (Francis) Kelley. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, James Douglas Kelley. Kathleen's other survivors include a sister, Joann Rappold and a brother, Namon Diehl. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Doyce Diehl, W.A. Diehl, and Norman (Bud) Diehl, and a sister Mona Ruth Harris. Funeral Services will be Wednesday January 16, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Saltillo Heights Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Kelley Cemetery near Saltillo. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home (801 8th Ave) in Conway.
