Amy F. Tedder Reed

Amy F. Tedder Reed, 96, of Morrilton, went home to be with the Lord Monday, January 14, 2013. She was born July 13, 1916, the daughter of Lilburn Eurastes and Eda Belle Ryals Poindexter. She was a homemaker and seamstress and was a member of Atkins First Baptist Church. She was loved by all who knew her, and will be greatly missed by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, husband of 50 years John C. Tedder, and Earl Reed; one son, David Tedder; and one grandson, Alan Tedder. She is survived by her daughter, Modeen and husband Gary Parrish of Morrilton; son, Donald and wife Shirley Tedder of Merced, California; grandchildren, Debbie Zimmerman, Susan Hoyt, and Todd and wife Julia May; five great-grandchildren, Deanna Roberts, Andrea Brewer, Adam Zimmerman, Anthony Hoyt and Dylan Hoyt; and six great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services are 1 p.m. Thursday, January 17, at Atkins First Baptist Church with Rev. Ira Taylor officiating. Burial is in Atkins City Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. Pallbearers are David Haralson, Bobby Barber, Dwain Luter, Anthony Hoyt, Adam Zimmerman and Dylan Hoyt.
