Geraldine Watson was born on April 17, 1946, to the union of Spencer Anderson and Katherine Virginia Penn in Welch, West Virginia. Both of her parents, and her twin brother, Jerald Anderson preceded her in death.On January 10, 2013 at 11:15 a.m after suffering a long bout with cancer, her heavenly Father opened His arms, and welcomed her home. She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Rev. Robert Watson; brother, James Anderson of San Antonio Texas, brother-in-law, Charles Watson of Inkster, Mich.; four sisters-in-law; Margie Anderson of San Antonio Texas, Charlotte Watson, Patricia Watson and Sue Anderson of Inkster Mi; eight nieces and one nephew; Kimberly Anderson, of New York, N.Y., Victoria Plant, Kathy Anderson Hillard (Alandus) of Frederick, Md., Aimee Anderson Huff of Portland, Ore., Camille Anderson, LaKeesha Anderson, and, Jerald Anderson Jr., all of Inkster, Mich.; one aunt, Thelma Penn Cecil, of Eastpointe, Mich., seven first cousins; Wilma Jean Penn Ruffin (Joel) of Macomb, Mich., Carolyn Penn Cooper (Kenneth), William D. Penn III, Maurine Eans, all of Detroit, Mich., Ronald Penn of Las Vegas, Nev., Robert E. Penn, LaSalle Boyer of Inkster, Mich.; seven great-nephews, two great nieces, a host of cousins, other relatives, many friends and the entire Antioch Church family. Homegoing celebration and visitation will be Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 10 til 11 a.m. at New Salem Baptist Church Sherrill, Ark. with services beginning at 11:00am.
