Gussie Thomas Miller

Gussie Thomas Miller died at the age of 90 years on Jan 11, 2013. She was born August 10, 1922 in Graysonia, Ark. Her husband, Robert Howard Miller preceded her in death. Gussie was a long time member of Lifeline Baptist Church in Little Rock and later Harlan Park Baptist Church in Conway. She taught over 33 years in the Pulaski County School District and belonged to Delta Kappa Gamma. She was also a member of the S. Pulaski Co. Retired Teachers Association and the Faulkner Co. Retired Teachers Association. She is survived by two children, Robert H. Miller (Verlon) of Eads, Tenn. and Amanda Ann Haynie (Jim) of Overland Park, Kan. She also leaves five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 18, 2013, in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Conway, 1751 Dave Ward Drive, Conway, Arkansas. 501-327-5000. Burial will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery in Alexander. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. before the service in Conway and at graveside.
