Maxine Temple West

Maxine Temple West, age 87, of Warren, Arkansas died Thursday, January 17, at JRMC, Pine Bluff. She was born July 24, 1925 in Bradley County, Arkansas a daughter of the late Otis Temple and Mittie Parnell Temple. She was a retired federal clerk for the ASCS, a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She married Ernest Hankins West on December 30, 1955 and he died July 24, 2002. Surviving are two sons, Sammy West and spouse Lola, Warren, Ark. and Rev. Todd West and spouse Page, Maumelle, Ark; one brother, Clyde Temple, Warren, Ark; a sister, Shirley Battey, Santa Fe, New Mexico; four grandchildren, Jason West, Amanda West, Addison West and Riley West; two great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Grissom; three brothers Oril Temple, James Temple and Noah Temple and a sister, Joyce Schneider. Funeral services 10 a.m. Saturday, January 19, at Frazer's Chapel. Burial in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Visitation 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, January 18, at Frazer's.
