William Hueitt "Bill" Black, age 66, of Benton, went home to be with his heavenly father on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013. He was born Oct. 17, 1946, in Little Rock to Hueitt and Annabel Black. Bill was retired from Alcoa and spent his time helping out and playing golf at Longhills Golf Course in Benton. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Benton where he served as an usher. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hueitt and Annabel Black and his daughter, Lorie Lynn Black. He is survived by his daughter, Mistie Black Oswalt, his grandchildren, Laci Lea and Luke Larsen, special friends whom he considered family, Lea Landers, Jim and Jonell Mallory, Steve, Lisa, Brice, Todd, Meagan and Beckett McGuire. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday in Selph Hall at First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday Jan. 22, in Selph Hall at First Baptist Church with burial at New Rosemont Cemetery with Dr. Rick Grant Officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church or Saline Memorial Hospice in memory of Bill. Pallbearers: Philip Johnson, Bud Busken, Bruce Pennington, Cole Faust, Mack McCall, Doug Kidd.
