Janie Nanette Goodman

Janie Nanette Goodman, age 56, of Benton, passed away Monday, January 21, 2013 at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. She was born July 9, 1956 in Benton to the late Oscar Truman "Slim" Wilson and Jo Renee Wilson. "Nan" graduated Benton High School in 1974 and was of Baptist faith. She loved gardening, crystal hunting, and trips to the lake and ocean. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Truman "Buster" Wilson, one sister, Wanda Kay Wilson, her mother-in-law, Sara Goodman, one sister-in-law, Susan Berk, and one nephew, Blake Taylor. Survivors include her husband of 13 years, Bob Goodman; two daughters, Courtney Nyx Adams of Ozark, Arkansas and Kyndal Jewell Adams of Benton; one grandson, Jea "Alec" Purdom; one sister, Jo Ellen LaMaster and husband Fred of Benton; one brother, David Eli Wilson of Benton; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives, and friends. A celebration of "Nan's" life will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton (501-315-4047).
