Peggy Wygal, 76, of Pine Bluff, made her glorious journey to meet her Lord from her home Tuesday, January 22, 2013, one month after her husband. Born December 4, 1936, in Salem, Va. She was one of five children of the late Frank Herbert Davis and Mary Ola Davis. She was reared and received her early education in Salem, Va. She attended Andrew Lewis School in Salem. She recieved her GED in 1976. She was employed as an assistant manager at Burger Chef, and worked in sales at the Jean Joint and American Imports. She was later employed at Cycle and Marine Center in Pine Bluff, where she retired after 19 years. Mrs. Wygal was a member of Good Faith Carr United Methodist Church. She had a love of reading and a wealth of knowledge and instilled this love of reading in her children and grandchildren She was a cub scout leader, girl scout leader, team mom for Little League and Babe Ruth baseball teams, volunteer for the PTA, and president of Watson Chapel Band Parents Association. Her family always came first. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved the Lord and went the extra mile to let her family know that they were her greatest gifts in life. She had a big heart and a love for animals. She was preceded in death by her husband, of 60 years, Bruce Wygal; her father and mother, Frank Herbert and Mary Ola Davis; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Verna Wygal; her brother, Lester Glenn Davis; two sisters, Rachael Davis and Shirley Lenora Faries; and one great-grandaughter, Ayla Rose Rodriguez. She is survived by her children, Brian Keith Wygal, and wife, Mary Jane, of Conway, Bridget Anne White and husband, David, of Mount Ida, Ellen Ruth Moore and husband, Harold, of Pine Bluff, Stacy Lee Grimes and husband, Michael, of Cabot, John Robert Wygal and wife, Tina, of Star City, and Kirk Steven Wygal and wife, Christy, of Little Rock; her 17 grandchildren; 15 great-granchildren; her brother, Clifford Hugh Davis and his wife, Jean, of Harrisonburg, Va.; her brother-in-law, Charles Robert Faries of Salem, Va. and numerous nieces, nephews and family members. Funeral services will be Friday, January 25, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors with Reverend Chuck Coffelt officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Robinson's from 1 p.m. to service time.
