Marian Rose Elder

Marian Rose Elder, 81 of El Dorado died Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Timberlane Health & Rehab. Born October 7, 1931 in El Dorado she was the daughter of John Ernest and Madge Emily Swatzell McKinley. She was a homemaker and a member of Cross Life Church. Preceding her in death along with her parents were her husband, Joseph Wesley Elder, three infant children a brother and sister-in-law, Logan Ernest McKinley and Othelia McKinley and a brother-in-law, Rev. Wayne Reid. Survivors include a sister, Nancy Reid of El Dorado and a brother, Billy Wayne McKinley (Alma Ruth) of Pine Bluff, Ark. and a sister-in-law, Florence Elder Smith of Little Rock, Ark. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Young's Funeral Directors with Dr. Dwain Miller officiating. Interment will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 25, 2013 at Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, Mississippi under the direction of Young's Funeral directors. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at Young's Funeral Directors.
