BOBBY KENNETH MORGAN, 78 of Little Rock, passed away peacefully on the morning of Jan. 26, 2013, to be with his Lord and Savior. He was born on May 15, 1934, in Star City. He graduated from the University of Monticello and was a retired director for Arkansas Employment Security where he worked 38 years and was respected by many. Bob was a proud member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church in Little Rock where he was a dedicated Deacon and Usher for many years. One adjective to describe Bob would be faithful. He was faithful to God, his church, his friends, but most importantly his family. He was a member of the Branchville Masonic Lodge in Star City where he was a 32 degree mason. He also served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He is preceded in death by his parents Houston R. Sr. and Venia Williams Morgan, his daughter Pam Morgan, and his brothers Wilbur and Gilbert Morgan. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Shirley Jacobs Morgan of Little Rock, his daughter Karen Rial of Mabelvale, his special granddaughter Morgan Adams of Mabelvale, his four brothers, Leonard, Raymond, Ronnie and HR Morgan of Star City, and his two sisters Dorothy Hawkins of Star City, and Linda Harrison, of Benton. The family will receive friends and family from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home in Little Rock. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church in Little Rock with Bro. Jeff Williams officiating. Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday Jan. 29, 2013, at Drake Cemetery in Star City. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the building fund at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church at PO Box 31510, Little Rock, Ark., 72260. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City.
