George N. Phillips

George N. Phillips, age 79, of Benton passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013. He was born February 2, 1933 in Centerville, Iowa. George was a retired carpenter and a Lutheran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Velma Porter Phillips, wife, Marion Phillips. Survivors, son, Scott Philips, Benton; daughter, Sherry Moore, Bella Vista, AR; brother, Robert Phillips, West Point, CA; sisters, Marietta Permann, Wisconsin; Imogene (Ruth) Welch, Washington State; one grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
