Wilma Irene Blankenship

Wilma Irene Blankenship of Sherwood passed away into God's arms on Monday, January 28, 2013. Wilma was born February 26, 1915 in Bartlesville, Okla. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Nora Lindsey; her husband of forty three years, James Robert "Bobby" Blankenship,Sr., sisters, Christine Huffstetler, Nila McKnight, Essie Ball, Anna Belle Testerman, Katherine Baker, brothers, Lester, Gene and Kenneth Lindsey. Wilma was a member of First Assembly of God Church in North Little Rock.She enjoyed gardening, knitting, and crocheting. She is survived by her children, James Robert Blankenship, Jr. (Diane), Curtis Wayne Blankenship (Vicki), and Barbara Jean Lyle (Mike). She was blessed with fifteen grandchildren, Linda Blankenship, Jamie Huebner (Greg), Karen Miller (Ron), Greg Blankenship (Heather), Pam St Clair (Dan), Todd Blankenship (Jessica), Jeff Hanni (Jeanette), Chris Hanni (Raili), Michelle Rochner (Larry), Joe David Moon (Audrey), Phillip Moon (Veda), Neal Moon, Shannon Lyle (William) Jennifer Barnett (John) and Carrie Petcock (James); forty three great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd. North Little Rock, Ark. 72116 (501-791-7400). Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, January 31, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at 3 p.m., Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren, Ark.
