Carl D. Newman

Mr. Carl D. Newman, age 82 of Bee Branch, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born May 26, 1930 in Clinton, Arkansas to Frank and Ian (Kirkendoll) Newman. He was married to Hilda (Miller) Newman for 62 years and was a member of Rocky Hill Baptist Church. He was a lifelong resident of Van Buren County, a loving husband, father, and grandpa who loved life and his fellow man. He is survived by his wife; two sons: Randy (Wanda) Newman and Russell Newman; two granddaughters: Brandy Jackson and Christina Gray; two great-grandsons: Tyndall Jackson and Ranger Robison; two sisters: Danise Harper and Iline Isom, and two brothers: Lennie Joe Newman and Raymond Newman. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Grady Newman. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home Clinton. Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2013 at Roller McNutt Chapel Clinton. Interment will follow at Pee Dee Cemetery. Arrangements are by Roller McNutt Funeral Home Clinton.
