Mary Frances Butler, 95, went to be with her Lord and Savior January 29, 2013. She was born November 22, 1917 to the late Edna and William Anthony Smith Sr. She is survived by her spouse of 76 years, Woodrow T. Butler; a daughter, Anne Bradley and husband, Ted; grandchildren, Stephanie Rushing and her husband, Anthony of Benton; Michelle Henson of Bryant; and Kevin Henson of Mansfield, Texas; great grandchildren, Cleburne, Julianna and Staunton Rushing; and Hannah and Brooke Henson; a sister, Myrtle Alice Biggers and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Edwin Smith and William Anthony Smith, Jr. and a sister, Georgia Fay Fought. She was a member of Henderson United Methodist Church for about 65 years and was active in a number of capacities, especially the United Methodist Women until recent years when she was unable to attend. She still kept in touch with friends there and with the activities of the church. She was a life-long homemaker and enjoyed her home, gardening, sewing and getting together with friends over the years. She was an avid reader and a wonderful cook. She loved her family and was especially close to her grandchildren who spent much time with her as they were growing up. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Henderson United Methodist Church with interment to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
