Thomas Raymond Crockett

Thomas (Raymond) Crockett, 70, of Maumelle, passed away Tuesday, January 29 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born September 12, 1942 in Menard, Texas to David Crockett and the late May Medders Ramsey. During his 20 years in the Army, Ray graduated from Columbia College in Missouri. Following his retirement from the Army he worked for the United States Post Office in Little Rock. He was a member of Pulaski Heights Masonic Lodge #673, and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife of over 53 years, Judy Crockett. Also survived by four daughters; Cheryl (Eric) Pruitt of Heber Springs, Kim (Charles) Elrod of Maumelle, Angela (David) Ruble of Conway, and Rae Ann (Daniel) Mayden of Maumelle, eleven grandchildren; Kristin Hogue, Trey Richards, Landon Bender, Alex Pruitt, Kaci Elrod, Jordan Summers, Jessie Morgan, Alex Ruble, and Lauren, Will, and Ryley Mayden, two great-grandchildren; Corey Tidwell and Morgan Summers, three brothers; Robert Crockett, David Crockett Jr., and R.C Ramsey, all of Texas, his closest friend, Hank Strickland, and a host of extended family and friends. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2013 at Roller Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway (501) 224-8300. Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel.
