John Robert Scallion

John Robert Scallion, 81, of Woodson, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the VA Hospital in Little Rock. He was born April 8, 1932 in Carlisle, Ark. to the late Elmer and Sarah Scallion. Mr. Scallion was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a lifelong over-the-road truck driver. Survivors include his wife, Nila Jean Scallion; three children, Mala, Dale, and Dean; two brothers, David and Floyd, and a sister, Uni. A time of visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until noon on Saturday, July 27, 2013 in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) with interment immediately following in New Rosemont Memorial Park in Benton.
