Mable Lucy Walden

Mrs. Mable Lucy Walden, 93, of Hope, Ark. passed away May 31, 2013 in Hope, Ark.. Mable was born Aug. 25, 1919 in Rosston, Ark. to Jim and Lucy Bennett Almand. She was a homemaker and member of the Hope Church of Christ. Mrs. Walden was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Walden; one son, Larry Walden; grandson, Eddie Tullis; five sisters and three brothers. She is survived by one daughter, Linda (Jessie) Tullis of Hope, Ark.; one daughter-in-law, Cecilia Walden of Hope, Ark.; three grandchildren, Tanya Ray, Margo Walden and Steven Walden; two great-grandchildren, Lainey Ray and Mitchell Ray; her extended family and staff of Heather Manor Nursing Home. Visitation will be Sunday, June 2, 2013 between the hours of 6-8 p.m. at Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home. Services will be Monday, June 3, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the Hope Church of Christ with Barry Haynes and Robert Orren officiating, interment in Memory Gardens cemetery under the direction of Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home.
