Mildred H. King

MILDRED H. KING, 88, of Little Rock died Saturday, June 1, 2013. Born April 12, 1925 in Saline County, Ark., she was the daughter of R.T. and Ira B Carter Harris. A homemaker, she was a member of Henderson United Methodist Church who loved to dance and was an outstanding Southern cook. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward A. King; a son, Reggie King; sisters, Jean Harris, Irene Wright, Doris Hutcheson, and Frances Erwin. Survivors are sons, Marty King of Little Rock and Rick King (Beverly) of Redfield; one grandson, Rick King Jr. and one great-granddaughter, Stormey King of East End. Graveside services will be at 12 noon Tuesday, June 4 at Roselawn Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Mike Poye officiating. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th St., Little Rock (501) 661-9111.
