Annie Mae Dew Riels

Mrs. Annie Mae Dew Riels, 91, of Hamburg died Monday, June 3, 2013 at the Ashley County Medical Center in Crossett. Mrs. Riels was a native and lifelong resident of Ashley County and Hamburg and a resident of the Kilcrease House for the past five years. She was a homemaker and she worked at the Hamburg Shirt Factory for 20 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hamburg. She was a loving "Memmie" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. ]She is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd M. Riels in 1993; her parents, Frank & Luna Ann Holland Dew and her brother and sister-in-law, Virgil & Katherine Dew. She is survived by a son, Glynn Riels and wife, Ruth, of Fountain Hill; three grandchildren, Alan Riels and wife, Lisa; Alicia Kunert and husband, Joel; Andy Riels and wife, Susan; five great-grandchildren, Allison Bussman and husband, Adam, Will Cooper, A.J.Riels, Kayla Riels and Drew Riels. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013 at the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Extra Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
