Belle Wylie, our beloved GG, age 97, of Hot Springs, left this earth on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, to enter the gates of Heaven. She was born on July 22, 1915 at Vidor, Texas, the daughter of Felix Morgan Theriot and Margaret Levica Stephenson Theriot. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne J. Wylie; her parents; three brothers; and one sister. She attended Trinity Church. She spent a great deal of her life in service to others as a Hospice volunteer, treasurer of Mt. Olive Church, Senior Citizen volunteer and all around great friend to everyone. She loved to line dance. She graduated from Lamar College, Beaumont, Texas, in 1936. GG and her great-grandson, Parker, shared a truly unbreakable bond. Her sense of love, kindness and generosity lives on in him. She is survived by three daughters, Olynda Wylie of Hot Springs, Juanita Holt and her husband, Carlos, of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Dorothy Jane Ayo of Oakwood, Texas; her brother, Travis Theriot of Hemphill, Texas; three grandchildren and their spouses, Michelle and Chris Miller, Bryan and Jum Bondurant and Lynda and Sam Denny; and five great-grandchildren, Parker Miller, Micah Bondurant, Clemmie Belle Bondurant, Adryan Belle Denny and Stormy Gail Denny. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2013 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, with Pastor Bobby Thornton officiating.
