Robert Douglas was born March 23rd, 1940 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Douglas Sr. and passed away on June 5th, 2013 surrounded by his family. He served his country in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Moose Lodge 942 in Sherwood where he served as Administrator helping to raise thousands of dollars for charity. He was a Christian man who was devoted to his family and was known as a hard worker having worked his whole life providing for his family. He is survived by his children Ruthann Gray and Jeanie Ford of Jacksonville and Robert D. Douglas of Sherwood as well as his grandchildren; Kelli-Ann Schluter, Kimberley Inmon, Tiffany Loar and Presley Douglas and seven great-grandchildren also one sister Dorothy Mitchell of California. He is preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Faye Douglas as well as a son-in-law Ferrell Gray. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 7th, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home 7724 Landers Rd. in North Little Rock. With funeral services held on Saturday, June 8th, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Memorial Park.
