Wilda June "Wendy" Hunthrop, 83, of Pine Bluff, died Wednesday, June 5, 2013. She was born August 29, 1929 in Briggsville, Arkansas, daughter of Alvin and Myrtle Miller Tolleson. Mrs. Hunthrop was reared and received her early education in Dumas and Watson, graduating from Watson High School. She worked as an operator at Southwestern Bell, which later became AT&T for 20 years. Mrs. Hunthrop was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Hunthrop; her parents; and brother, Lynn Tolleson. Survivors include two sons, Christopher Ray Hunthrop (Renee) of White Hall and John Michael Hunthrop; brother, Glynn Tolleson (Susie) of Crossett; three sisters, Ruby Wabble (Rudy) of Rocky Hill, Connecticut, Thelma Howard of Tampa, Florida and Dell Condry of Little Rock; and three grandchildren, Alison, Cameron and Mary Ellen Hunthrop. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, June 8, 2013 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend M.L. Faler officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
