Raymond Earl Barton, 84, of Russellville, Ark., passed away Thursday, June 6, 2013 at St. Mary's Regional Med Center in Russellville, Ark. The son of Guy and Bessie Warren Barton, he was born June 28, 1928 in Moreland, Ark. He married Louise Barton, on March 1, 1952 in Russellville. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a member of AmVets. He was owner of Barton's Wrecker Service and his family was awarded farm family of the year numerous times. Raymond attended Dover Church of Christ. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and watching sports. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Dee, Truman, Warren, Neal and Ralph Barton; two sisters, Mary Hazel Virden and Abigail Bewley. Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years Louise Barton of Russellville; three children, Anna Hendricks & husband David of Conway, Brenda Barton of Russellville, Melinda Brock & husband Allen of Russellville; 9 grandchildren, Will Davis, Jeff Davis, Jason Barnett, Kristi Epps, Tiffany Robinson, Jacob Hendricks, Guy Schembra, Rachel Schembra and Emily Brock; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Arvil Barton & wife Sydna of Russellville; many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 10, 2013 at Humphrey Chapel. Dan Lightfoot and Anthony Sweeney will officiate. Burial will be at Shiloh Williamson Cemetery in Russellville, Ark. by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, at the funeral home.
