C.H. "Pat" Briley

Mrs. C.H. Briley (Pat) of Bryant, Ark., formerly of North Little Rock, joined her Heavenly Father, Thursday, June 6, 2013. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be missed beyond measure. Mrs. Briley was born May 11, 1927 in Desha, Ark. of Independence County. She spent her earlier years as a homemaker. Several years after her husband passed away she moved to Hot Springs and developed a love for horse racing. Although she loved living on the lake, she eventually moved to Bryant to be closer to her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Conious Hubert Briley; her mother, Nellie Barbara Davis; and father, Thomas Moore; her siblings, Oleta LaTempa, Joe Sanders, Elouise Sanders, Vena Martin Harris and Thomas W. Moore; as well as, her precious grandchildren, Matt Price and Austin Cartwright; her niece, Donna Martin and special niece, Vickie Wyatt. She is survived by her daughters, Paula Price (Bobby) of Hickory Plains, Tammy Beck (George) of Vilonia, Lisa Taylor of Maumelle, and special son-in-law, Rick Taylor of Bryant; her grandchildren, Larry Gatrell, Laura Jurkovich, Meagan Gore, Tommy Davis Jr., Dylan, Maddie and Peyton Cartwright, Dalton and Cody Taylor; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews; special sister-in-law, Martha Sanders; dear friends, Alicia Pierce, Becky Rhea and Helen Huiseman. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Hospice Home Care of Little Rock for their exceptional care during the last week of her life. Heaven is rejoicing at the arrival of this precious woman.
