Vida Lorene Ward

Vida Lorene Ward, 94 of Conway, passed from this life on Saturday, June 8, 2013. She was born Nov. 18, 1918 in Faulkner County, Arkansas to the late John and Bell Ward. Mrs. Ward was a faithful and longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Conway. She retired from Wal-Mart store number 5 after many years of employment. She enjoyed spending time with her family, making daily shopping trips to Wal-Mart, working in her flowers and gardening, and was a wonderful cook. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sam Ward; daughter, Janelle Lisenby; and grandson, Jon Todd Bryant. Survivors include her son, Sam Jerry Ward; granddaughters, Debbie (Mark) Ellis; Jill Bryant; Jessica Ward; step granddaughter, Amber (John) Spencer; great grandchildren, Peyton Ellis; Brooks Ellis; Mitchell Bryant; Will Ward; Cy Spencer; Winnie Spencer; very special daughter-in-law, Denva Ward; other family and friends. Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
