Daivd M. Sharp, Sr.

David M. Sharp, Sr., 67, of Conway, passed from this life on Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Mr. Sharp was born in Charleston, Arkansas, on May 5, 1946 to Harley and Gayle (Henderson) Sharp. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who enjoyed hunting, fishing and attending Bluegrass Music festivals. He attended the University of Arkansas School of Pharmacy, where he attained his degree. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. Those left to cherish his memory are: his wife, Brenda Sharp; son, David M. Sharp Jr. and wife Katie of Conway; daughter, Dana Maksimowicz and husband Mike of Belgium; grandchildren: Chloe and Kaleb Sharp and Logan, Molly and Madelyn Maksimowicz and numerous friends. His parents and an infant sister preceded him in death. David's family sends special thanks to Baptist Health Hospice Care; caregivers, Evelyn Vance and Gena Shearer for the excellent and loving care given to David. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., on Saturday, June 15, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway (501-327-7727) with Ron Willard, Tim Kellerman and Dr. Dairel O'Bar officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, in Charleston, Ark., with Ed Dunlap, Bob Lewis, Mike Cole, Ron Tiffee, Michael Hewett and Dr. Larry Seifert-serving as pallbearers.
