Leland L. Robinson, II was born February 2, 1984 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Mr. Leland L. Robinson and Karen (Reed) Hastings. He departed this life on Saturday, June 8, 2013. At an early age he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and later attended New Life Church of North Little Rock, Arkansas. Leland was united in marriage to Elizabeth Farish on October 20, 2007. Over the past several years, they built a beautiful marriage, deep friendship, and a strong family. Leland and Elizabeth welcomed Addyson Lynn into the world on September 14, 2006 and Lizly Joyce on December 27, 2011. Leland dedicated his life to his wife and daughters. Leland graduated from Des Arc High School in 2002. He attended the University of Arkansas Fort Smith and later finished his bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. Leland joined the military in October of 2001 where he built his career with the military. He served two tours in Iraq and then finished his career at Camp Robinson as a 25-Uniform Instructor as Sergeant First Class. Leland was a person that was full of life. He touched anyone's heart that he met by his outgoing spirit, beautiful smile, caringness and selflessness. He would go above and beyond to help anyone that crossed his path and never expected anything in return except friendship. He had a very strong work ethic and would go above and beyond to make sure everything in his life from work, family, and friends was taken care of. He leaves his legacy to a loving wife, Elizabeth Robinson; two devoted daughters, Addyson Lynn and Lizly Joyce Robinson; his father, Leland Robinson I and stepmother, Clarinda (Williams) Robinson of Des Arc; mother, Karen (Reed) Hastings of Maryland; two brothers, LeRon (Adrienne) Robinson of Virginia and Daniel Rivera of Colorado; four sisters, Tonya (George) Palomino of Kansas, Vanessa (Don) Jacobs, LaJoy Robinson and LeAnna Robinson of Maryland; three aunts, Charlene Loveless of Illinois, Gireta (Lindsey) Smith and Marie (Larry) Bazzelle of Arkansas; one uncle, Arnold (Portia) Robinson of Arkansas; father-in-law, Rev. Tim Knight and mother-in-law, Terry Knight; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will cherish his memories. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. Charley and Mrs. Blanchie (Holloman) Robinson of Des Arc, and one uncle, James Robinson, Sr. of Little Rock. Visitation will be Friday, June 14 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Saturday, June 15 at 11 a.m. at New Life Church in North Little Rock, officiated by Rev. Tim Knight. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Lakeside Cemetery at Des Arc.
