Marsha Ann O'Connor

Marsha Ann York O'Connor, age 58, of Jacksonville died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 and went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born January 18, 1955 in Cottonwood, Idaho to Will and Mona Slaten York. On February 14, 1983 she married Patrick O'Connor Sr. in Juarez, Mexico. Marsha was of the Baptist faith, she was saved in August of 1996 at Grace Baptist Church in Odessa, Texas. She never met a child she did not love or a child that did not love her, she will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Shannon Terrell Aaron on March 13, 1972. She is survived by her husband, Patrick O'Connor Sr. of the home; children, Sarah (Christopher) Springs of Jacksonville, Brian (Neysa) O'Connor of Jacksonville, Patrick (Lori) O'Connor Jr. of Jackson, Tenn., Jeff Aaron of Dustin, Okla., Mike Aaron of Louisiana, Alan (DeAnn) O'Connor of Albuquerque, N.M.; parents, Will and Mona York of Lampasas, Texas; 15 grandchildren, Michael Dylan, Shannon Janelle, Alyssa Nicole, Cody William, Brian Patrick Jr., Sean Patrick, Megan Nicole, Jefferey Shane, Elli Kate, Marleigh Grace, Elyse Gray, Austin Tyler, Madison Paige, Nathan Scott, and Ava Presley; three sisters, Pam of San Marcos, Texas, Judy Back of Waco, Texas, Vicky Beattie of Stratford, Texas; six brothers, Guy York of Alaska, Scott York, John York and Mark York, all of Roanoke, Va., Doug York of Shreveport, La., and Ted York of Dumas, Texas. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
