DONNA GRADY CREER, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2013. She was born April 25, 1956, and spent her formative years in Marianna, Ark. She was joined in death by her husband, Donald Creer. She was a tireless worker on behalf of the gospel community, being inducted into the Broadcasters Hall of Fame, as well as being the Second Vice Chairman for the National Gospel Announcers Guild and a member of the Arkansas Gospel Announcers Guild. She was also a national voice talent and a broadcaster at JoyNetRadio.com. The Delta Sigma Theta sorority sister was in her 26th year as the Executive Director of the Magnet Review Committee in Pulaski County, where she implemented and supported educational equality and excellence. Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Wanda Grady; brother, Connor Grady; nephew, Justin Grady; members of the Grady, Creer, and Davis families; numerous godchildren; and countless friends and loved ones in Little Rock and across the country. Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, June 20, 12-6 p.m. at Robinson Mortuary Chapel, Little Rock. A celebration of their life will include a Musical Tribute on Thursday, June 20, 6:30 p.m. at St. Mark Baptist, 5722 W. 12 St., Little Rock. Home-going Celebration will be held Friday, June 21, 11 a.m. at St. Mark Baptist Church, 5722 W. 12 St., Pastor L. Phillip Pointer, Officiating.
