Patsy Ruth Courtney

PATSY RUTH COURTNEY, of Little Rock, was born in North Little Rock, Ark., August 24, 1931, and was received into the kingdom of Heaven June 12, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents Caleb and Mae Prater. Pat is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Robert (Bob) Courtney; three daughters, Pamela (Carl) Lemke of El Paso, Texas, Kathy Douglass of Little Rock and Robbin (Robert) Bemus of Sherwood; six grandchildren Samuel (Stacy) Douglass, James Douglass, Joseph Lemke, Jennifer (David) Woolf, Joshua Bemus and Adam Bemus; two great-grandchildren, Loyd and Darlene Woolf; and other friends and relatives. Pat was a long time member of Parkview Christian Church where she served as a deacon for many years. She was a member of Adoniram Eastern Star and a former member of the Adoniram Rainbow Assembly Advisory Board. She was a devoted wife and mother and will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be on Monday, June 17, at 10 a.m. in the chapel at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home with burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
