Taylor McKeen Shelton left us to be in the arms of Jesus on June 15, 2013. He was born April 10, 2012 in Bentonville to Dr. Wes and Ella Shelton. Although Taylor was only with us a short time, he was the love of our lives, and showed us, above all, how to love unconditionally. Taylor's big beautiful blue eyes sparkled and his smile was infectious, whether in the grocery store or on-set at a photo shoot, every person in the room wanted to be near him and feel a part of his happiness and spirit. He was a child that never met a hat he didn't like as was evident in the thousands of photos taken of him. He had an innate sense of style and wouldn't dare remove his hat for fear of diminishing his completed look. He brought us all together and bonded us in a way that can never be broken. We loved him wholly and will never forget the joy that he brought to our lives. Although he left us much too soon, we know that he will be waiting at the gates of Heaven for each one of us when our time comes. He was wildly energetic, curious and most of all loving. His happiness and spirit will live on in each one of us and though our hearts may wish to grieve, we must also realize that we were given a gift in our time with him. We love you, Taylor McKeen Shelton and we will always remember you. Taylor is survived by his parents, Dr. Wes and Ella Shelton of Bentonville and his beloved dog Jagger; maternal grandparents, Gary and Dr. Verona Bebow; paternal grandparents, Dr. Bill and Becky Shelton; maternal great-grandparents, Dr. Walter Earl McKeen and Fred and Phyllis DeWitt; paternal great-grandmother, Bonnie Taylor; maternal uncle Andy Bebow, aunt Erika and cousin Graham; maternal uncle Tice Brown; maternal aunt Clare Brown; paternal uncle Ben Shelton and aunt Mandy. He is preceded in death by his dog Bentley, his maternal grandmother Cheryl Ann McKeen Bebow; maternal great-grandparents Shirley Thayer McKeen and Earl Eugene Bebow; paternal great-grandparents Dr. Chaney Taylor and Glenn and Polly Shelton. Memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2013, at Central United Methodist Church in Rogers with Reverend Carness Vaughan and Reverend Dawn Spragg officiating. Visitation will follow.
