Ruben Maxwell Quattlebaum, passed away at his residence in North Little Rock, Arkansas on June 18, 2013 at the age of 89. Mr. Quattlebaum was born in Antioch Arkansas on February 25, 1924 and is survived by his loving wife Nadine Quattlebaum and his beloved son and daughter Jerry and Susan Quattlebaum. Mr. Quattlebaum is also survived by his adoring grandchildren, Mandy, Cari, Maxwell, Jerred, and Cameron Quattlebaum. Ruben grew up on a farm with three sisters, Ima Mae, Geraldine, and Mary who have all passed. He will be remembered as the successful owner of Ruben's Esso/Exxon, Quality Oil, Quattlebaum. Construction, 4-Way Tire Company, and Clover Meadows Farm. He was a passionate supporter of his family's interest in the professional racehorse and golf industries. He is now with his Mother and Father, Oscar and Pearl Quattlebaum of Beebe, Arkansas. His last thoughts were of his love of family, his country, and his Razorbacks. His family and friends will be received by Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W. Dewitt Henry Dr. Beebe, Arkansas for visitation at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013, and for funeral services at 2:00pm, with burial at Antioch Cemetery.
